This year we will learn to listen, speak, read, and write in Spanish as we learn about the countries where Spanish is spoken and how to communicate with Spanish speakers. What are we learning?: Tema 1 - Greetings and introducing myself, Spanish speaking countries and the weather - January Tema 2 - Mi school (schedules, things in a school, how we feel about our classes) - February Tema 3 - My favorite activities (things I like and don't like to do) - February Tema 4 - My community (places I go in my free time) - March Tema 5 - Describing myself - April Tema 6 - Body parts and telling what hurts - May All daily work and announcements are in Google Classroom.
Grading Scale How am I graded in Spanish class? Remember we are on a journey to communicate and connect with real people who speak real Spanish. For this reason, I will grade you based on your proficiency in communicating in the language. We will assess/grade our performance based on proficiency levels that tell us what we CAN do with the language. Please read all feedback I give you because you will often have an opportunity to raise your score if needed.
